Vintage Emerson Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Radio
Vintage Emerson Mickey Mouse tube radio - has not been tested - does show wear - cord has been changed. Back panel is missing.
The Emerson model 411 novelty radio was manufactured and distributed by Emerson under an exclusive licensing agreement with the Walt Disney Company, signed a short time prior to October of 1933. It was one of three Mickey Mouse sets introduced that Fall as part of Emerson\'s line-up for 1934. In words taken from an announcement in Radio Retailing, dated October of 1933The case is wooden with carvings of Mickey Mouse playing various musical instruments.
There is a crack on the front. I am not sure if the two (2) turn knobs are original. Please see pictures.
This vintage radio is from an estate and the previous owner was a television repairman and worked on vintage radios.
