Photos, measuring 3 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches, show theBoeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber Nurse Maid in a hangar for repair/maintenance.

These photos and more I am now listing are from a guy who was a mechanic at Hickam Field in Hawaii. He had pictures of planes, including the Enola Gay, involved in Operation Crossroads (mid-1946 nuclear weapons test at Bikini Atoll) as well as others, such as the famed Pacusan Dreamboat B-29, which flew non-stop from Honolulu to Cairo, Egypt in October 1946. He also took photos of planes to be repaired or being repaired, crashed wreckage maybe from Pearl Harbor, Hawaii scenery, and his buddies fooling around. Some of his written captions are correct; some are a bit off or uncertain, such as naming a Sikorsky helicopter a whirligig or dragon fly.
