Offering a Vintage 1954 Ornamental Brass SingleLight Switch Plate Cover. It is verydetailed. The top has a crest with a lion and what looks like a candlestick holder. The middlehas a lion on the lower left corner and a heart in the center. The inside perimeter has a diamond shape with a crest in the center and fleur de lis pattern on the inside of the rectangle outlined by a zipper pattern. The outside pattern is made of fleur de lis and leaf fronds. Perfect for colonial or nautical themes. Made by Virginia Metalcrafters, Waynesboro,Virginia. The back is stamped on the top 24-17 ornamental switch plate. Made of solid brass, this plate isheavy. It measures 5 ½” tall x 4” wide. Ithas not been polished but as you can see it is in superb condition! I also havea DOUBLE switchplate available for purchase.
