In 1974, Pendleton introduced their shawl collar \"Westerley\" cardigan sweater, and it was immortalized by Jeff Bridges as \"The Dude\" in the 1998 cult classic \"The Big Lebowski\". This Vintage 1970s PENDLETON WESTERLEY BIG LEBOWSKI \"THE DUDE\" CARDIGAN SWEATER is in very good condition, with a very small hole in the middle left front, the top right corner of the maker\'s label at the inside neck having come unstitched, a small spot of dark soiling at the underside of the middle left zipper placket, a hole and two small holes in the back left neck, a few small holes in the upper left back, and with some light overall age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the sweater is in fine shape, with no other damage to the thick, warm knit wool construction. Most interestingly, it boasts the classic blue and gray Greek key pattern throughout, sports a fully functional \"TALON\" brass key ring front zipper, and carries the original \"Pendleton / HIGH GRADE WESTERN WEAR\" maker\'s label at the inside neck. It\'s a Size X-Large, features a shawl collar, and is a fine example of a rare, originalVintage 1970s PENDLETON WESTERLEY BIG LEBOWSKI \"THE DUDE\" CARDIGAN SWEATER.
