VINTAGE 1980s ERA, ALLIED SIGNAL (HONEYWELL) FLUORINE CHEMICALS TRUCKING TRANSPORT
EMPLOYEE AWARD, PYROGRAPHY ETCHED SOLID WOOD DESK / MANTEL CLOCK,
MEASURES 5\" x 7\" x 1-1/2\"Very nice, true vintage, onceused and since stored condition. Shows light wear, including minor surface marks and scratches, is a little dusty in the detailed areas, and the second hand is lightly bent. The movement for the clock is a one (1) AA size battery operated movement, and works absolutely no problem. The case is solid wood and the logo design on the bottom front appears to have been done using pyrography, a wood burning technique. It reads FLUORINE CHEMICALS ALLIED SIGNAL, with canisters and a tractor trailer image. I would have to believe this was made in recognition for Allied Signal\'s then fluorine business, or possibly for a driver that transported these chemicals. There are no manufacturing marks on this piece.
