You are offerding on an Estate find Vintage 1994 Mr. Christmas Holiday Carousel Musical Merry Go Round. The carousel should turn while the horses ride up & down with lights to 21 favorite Christmas carols. I am not sure why carousel doesn\'t turn may be an easy fix. I didn\'t want to mess with it to much for fear I would make matters worse. The horses do move up & down and lights work (Occasionally you need to manually turn for lights to work -- i.e. the contacts under the canopy need cleaning.). The music plays fine. It is in nice used condition clean and no breaks or cracks just a few scuffs and the top finial/red Flag is bent a bit probably from being in the box. The box is not included. Overall a really nice Christmas piece for being over 20 years old. The AC power adapter cord is included in the sale; this item has been out of production for many years! Thanks so much for looking.I researched this not turning problem on Google and found that there is a gear under the canopy that could be the problem. But I am not a mechanical engineer and don\'t want to make it worse. I do know that if you turn the Flag-finial it will unscrew and the canopy will lift off easily. I can see a couple of years turning that should be moving the carousel, but I didn\'t want to take apart further. Could be an easy fix if you feel confident in taking things apart.
