Pair of Vintage Paper Mache’ snow geese withremovable heads

These would make such a great statement on a Frenchcountry or even Shabby Industrial Kitchen or Dining Table.

Condition is vintage: the heads come off but they have been glued on(a long time ago) and used for decoration. They were originally a hunting decoyand could still be used as one but when the ribbon is off you would need tore-glue their heads on as I am sure they do not go back together as when theywere first made and possible pieces of missing paper Mache’ under the ribbon (Itook a close up for your approval.

The metal tabs and eyes are both there and in goodshape.

Each has its flaws such as scuffs around the edges,dirt, and scuffs on the tops and edges of their tail area as they were onceused as decoys out in the field.

They have the hole in the top for mounting in thefield but the metal rods are missing.

The geese Measures approx. 23 and 24 in. long x 13 and 10 in. wide. The goose with the uprightneck would measure about 14.5 in tall if the head was on the body and the goosewith lowered head would be about 8 in. tall. Both have a metal \"hook\"on either side of their bodyBoth bought together AS-IS and they are being soldthat way.
