This dress will need restoration.
I have been told that this dress is made from hand made lace (not machine made). The loops and \"crochet\" parts are inconsistent. I am not an expert on lace so I have included a close up so you can determine for yourself.
The dress is made entirely of lace. The model is wearing a black slip which is not included. Puff sleeves with satin ribbon trim are stunning. The satin ribbon continues down the front hiding snap closure. There is also snaps along the side at waist area. The dress is cut very form fitting, and is quite sexy. This tight fit really accentuates the puffy sleeve and wide collar.
In my opinion the dress can be restored and worn by a size extra small person. The model is a size 2 and the dress is too tight for her. The lace seems strong and doesn\'t seem to be decaying or shattering. However the dress is old and I\'m not an expert so please keep this in mind when offerding.
