Vintage 1940\'s or 1950\'s Levi\'s 501 Jeans

Stated Size: No Size Tag - roughly 28/32 - see below

Material: 100% Cotton, USA

Features: Button Fly, Big E Red Tag on back, hidden rivets, selvedge, the red tag has wear but it doesn\'t seem to have the copyright symbol to the left of the LEVI\'S (or room for it) - that is said to be a marker for pre-1950.  Being that this pair was found amongst the other late 40\'s Lee and Carter jeans, it likely dates from this era as well.  It is definitely pre-1955 due to the blank back side of the red tag.

Condition Notes: Distressed (naturally), paint stains, tear/hole on back to the right of left back pocket, light stain below red tag, splitting/fraying on right side of yoke, some lighter blemishes, wear on pocket stitching, red tag has fraying/wear, general wear, stamp on inside right pocket (KELLEY, R.E and some numbers - possibly related to the masonry company dating back to 1934 in upstate New York - the jeans were found in Vermont).  These are cool, wearable jeans.
