Up for sale is a Authentic WW2 USN A-2 Jacket Size 42 - 44 / LargeMade of the same fabric as blue USN Deck Jackets but in green / heavy corded outer shellIs the rarer version or precursor of the 60s-70s A-2 Jackets, much heavier and denser in weight and more substantial. Again i believe its 40s based on the fabric and tags , these are not the later versions of the jacket which were made of a cheaper less heavily constructed fabric i would put it latest late 40s but i do not know for sure so if you are a stickler for age i would buy another jacket unless you do know and can share info i would be glad to post it up.The name \"HOMER\" is stamped over the left chest pocket.These don\'t pop up often, seam underarm has come undone and is NOT TORN- (see last photo) so it can be restitched at any local dry cleaner, i will leave it to the new ownerAlso has stains at neck , collar and throughout and is not new... and has some wear holes hear and there - if condition is a issue for you i would suggest a different jacket .
