Here\'s a great vintage 50s purse with the classic clutch style of the period - simple styling, an elegant clasp. This one is made of canvas-like material in a robin\'s egg blue colour. There is some stiffening and some cushioning between the exterior and the white plastic lining. The frame is butterscotch lucite with a \"lift & lock\" type closure and an opening for a handhold. The frame and closure work easily and smoothly, the interior is absolutely pristine with no signs of wear. There is a very tiny hole (near the bottom left of Photo #1) that looks as if it was made from a plastic price hanger. There is also one small mark (1/8\" x 1/4\") at the seam on the bottom - see Photo #5. I have not tried to clean this. The purse is in very good vintage condition, and appears lightly used. Other than the minor signs of use that I have mentioned, I see no condition issues with this lovely vintage purse.
