FabulousVintage Lace& Tulle Party Dress

Iconic 50s prom dress! Possibly made by Emma Domb as it was found at an estate sale with the yellow Emma Domb I have listed - the construction is near identical as are the measurements.

Pretty bubblegum pink color!

Strapless gown with2 layers of fluffy tulle! Top layer ofbodice is sheer rose lace. Bustline is embellished with rows of gathered tulle and is adorned with a pretty velvet ribbon that ties into a bow under the bust. Bodice is lightlyboned.Skirtis madeof 2layers of fluffy tulle (the top layer is lace at the top section which attaches to the tulle with a zig-zag seam) over a shimmery acetatelining. Dress zips and hooks on the side.

Dress fits like a modern XS

The measurements are:

Bust 34\"
Waist 26\"
Hips: free, up to 44\"
Length 53\" above bust to bottom
Length (waist to bottom): 41\"

The dress is in very good condition, hard to find in this condition. There are a few minor flaws that do not detract: A few small holes near the bottom edge of the tulle - not noticeable. A spill stain on the back side of the lining only - not visible when worn. The left side waist seam is pulling apart a little bit - again, not noticeable. (see last photo)
