Fantastic 1970s True VintageChocolate Brown Suede and Tibetan Lamb Coat
This is really lovely coat made of super-soft suede and extra-long curly Tibetan lamb on the huge collar, cuffs, and hem. The lamb is a brown and cream mix, super-dramatic. Very fitted, small coat with narrow sleeves and shoulders, and small arm holes. Meant to fit closely without any heavy garments beneath. The suede is quite thin and supple, and the coat is not designed to provide a lot of warmth. Double-breasted, bust darts and back darts, self-covered buttons, side seam pockets, belt of same suede. Largelyhand-made, it does retain a size label.
There were originally belt loops, one of which is gone, the other is stretched out. The lining has faded and changed color somewhat with age. There are some minor marks on the suede. Buttons could use tightening. The right bottom hem with the lamb fur sticks out a bit unevenly. General wear appropriate to age; please see pictures.
Coat is shown on a size 8 dress form on which it fits very tightly. It\'s labeled a size 12, but this is definitely a vintage size and I\'d say it\'s more like a 4; but please go by the measurements. They are taken from the OUTSIDE of the coat, so your own measurements should be several inches smaller to ensure best fit.
