Fresh from local Estate

Vintage stuffed teddy bear.

I know nothing about this little guy, nor a lot about bears. So if I miss something or need corrected please do. I love to learn and bears always have interested me.

I believe this little guy is from the 1940\'s. It came with a bunch of other toys from that period.

He I believe is a cinnamon brown bear but it could just be brown although for your reference it does have a reddish tone to it.

I also believe it is mohair and there is a patch missing on his left leg. (seen in pics)

His paw pads are in excellent condition.

I believe eyes are plastic not glass, although I am unsure. There is a picture below of the eye pulled some out.

He feels like he is stuffed with straw or something firm.

In center of back I can feel something inside him. I believe it is a growler but I am not sure.

Bear measures approx. 17 inches tall.

Very nice condition.

No smells

I took pictures outside and those are the most true to his color.
