Here we have an antique Estate purchased Knights of Pythias ceremonial sword with scabbard...I am No expert on swords so please ask questions...the knights head handle has an eagle on top and is wrapped in leather with a double chain...the plaque reads \"Schuyler, Hartley & Graham, Patented Jan. 7, 1875\" (this is also etched on the upper part of the blade)...the blade is ornately etched on both sides...the scabbard reads \"Esto Perpetua\"...the sword has a very dark patina throughout and the blade has light surface rust...I did not clean or polish it...the scabbard is in similar condition with rust...the sword measures 35 1/4\" long...blade measures 28\" long...together with scabbard it measures 36 1/2\" long...please see all photos as they are part of the description...any questions or in need of more photos, please email...if requesting more photos, please include your email address...We will be clearing out years of antique & old vintage items so ...Be sure to add me to your favorites list!...
