Thislisting is for a vintage American Watch Co gold pocket watch. This company was in business from 1859-1885,where it then became the American Waltham Watch Co. This piece has been very well taken care of,with a very tiny spider crack noted on the face of the clock near the 11thhour. The watch is marked with “AMERICANWATCH CO Riverside WALTHAM, MASS 920013”. The case is marked with “80157” “14K” “A W Co”. The middle case also features a monogram of “EllaMcKeown, from her uncle, Wils, May 28th, 1878”. The back of the case has a very nice floraldesign. The watch measures 1 ¾” indiameter, and weighs 68 grams. Pleasesee my listings for other unique vintage and antique items.
