Up for sale I have an amazing large mourning shadow box with handmade flower wreath and picture of the loved ones grave site? His name was Harry. This was purchased in Michigan and the woman we bought it from said that she believed it was for a young man who drowned in Portage Michigan. Box is quite large and the frame outside measures about 20\" x 22\" x 4\". The inside of the box is about 3\" deep and 17\" x 15\". Inside is lined with fabric that looks like very aged velvet that has turned a light brown. Inside and out shows appropriate age wear but this one may have seen more sun light as some parts inside seem lightly sun bleached. Beautiful handmade flowers from fabrics and yarns surround the inside picture. Harry\'s picture is also in a frame in the middle and fastened to inside of box. We have not cleaned inside of box as we don\'t want to damage anything. The outside may have been repainted some time ago black and gold. Frame front opens nicely but is fragile. One hook on the side with a latch. Back wood has wire for it to hang with two eyelets which looks original. Glass is not broken on the front and may have been replaced at some point? We don\'t know all the history there. Beautiful all around. We will be double boxing the item for safety. Please email me with any questions if I have left anything important out.
