Vtg Antique Victorian 1910\'s Silver Natural Chrysoprase Riviere Germany This sale is for a beautifully made and colorful, sterling and natural Chrysoprase riviere necklace, that was made in Germany during the 1910\'s - 20\'s.This piece is marked \"sterling Germany\" on the tongue of the clasp and the stones have been identified by a certified gemologist to be natural Chrysoprase. The necklace measures 17\" long, the Chrysoprase graduates in size from 3/4\" wide in front down to 1/2\" in back. The stones have a full and domed shape with the thickest stone at the front measuring 1/4\" thick at its thickest point. The necklace closes securely with its original hidden push clasp. This piece is special for its classical shape, the quality of the construction and materials, and the beautiful color of the Chrysoprase. The stones sit in an open setting, they are domed at the front and flat at the back, to highlight the depth in color and brightness in the stones. The colors shifts slightly from stone to stone which looks beautiful and frames the neck strikingly when worn. The stones have a smooth and domed surface that doesn\'t have any chipping or surface wear and there is a high sheen. The Chrysoprase is framed by a striking setting that is well made and has a beautiful patina.
There are no irregularities to the setting and no signs of solder or repair.
