This came in a box-lot of old bikeparts in a local sale in Upstate New York.It was originally chrome plated.I couldn’t find a makers’ mark or patent date. Chain design suggests19teens/twenties era. There is surface rust only. Bell tone sounds great. Lookslike the clapper is missing. Otherwise complete? As found. Mounted on bikeframe and operated by hand/chain or foot. This is a fairly complex invention.
