I purchased this item at a local estate sale in rural Michigan. I am not sure of its history but have tried to give accurate information based on my research. Max Laverrier had a foundry in Paris during the 1920s to 1940s where he made figurines dishes and ashtrays. He also went by \"Artus\".This 4 inch dish has a bird on it and some words that I do not know the meaning of.
