This1 1/4\" x 1 3/8\"shield-shaped religious piece contains a small piece of cloth on one side. The reverse reads \"Relic of Brother Andre silk which touched his heart\". The two pieces of protective plastic have a blue crochet border.

Brother Andre Bessette (1845-1937) was a French Canadian brother of the Congregation of Holy Crossand was credited withthousands of reported miraculous healings. He was finally canonized in 2010 and is now known as\"St. Andre of Montreal\". My guess is that this relic dates to the era right after his death. It is invery good pre-owned condition.Please see all thepictures.
