Up for sale is a really lovely CLARTE reproduction of a Byzantine painted Madonna & Child / Mary & Jesus. I believe the faces are hand painted--they are described as \"on canvas with authentic agiography colors\". The icon is covered with an embossed overlay of pure 950 silver with a gold border. The entire plaque is approx. 5.5\" X 4.25\". The back has a Clarte certificate. It\'s labeled as Poaon to Amapaton. I purchased this at an estate sale and am uncertain of its age. I have not polished the silver but I believe it will shine right up.
