. Pair of vintage, green Catalin dice (whitepips).Measurement: Approximately 1/2-inch square.. Burgundy swirl Catalin coin holder. The Catalin is in very nicecondition. The center post is missing the flippie. Generous amount of smooth caseincoins in red, blue, and green. 7/8-inch diameter.

.4 Catalin swirl, deep burgundy and cream racks with brass tonestoppers and coin holders.Two of the racks are swing-back style, made byCowan for Coronet. The other two racks are heavy with the straight-back, pleasesee rack profile picture for the difference. The straight-back racks are alittle longer in length. Racks are in overall nice condition, no cracks orchips. Racks are all in nice condition with light wear. Fourmatching coin holders, all posts and flippies are tight, there is loss of someof the brass plating, light pitting and light patina on the coin holders. Threeof the stoppers are oblong, one is more rectangular in shape.Measurement:Two racks approximately, 18-1/4 inches long, 15-7/8 inches playing field andthe other two racks, approximately 17-7/8 inches long, 15-1/2 inches playing field.. Original to the tile set, dark burgundy, faux alligatorskin case with two tile trays.The case lid is lined in burgundy velvet. Thetwo tile trays are lined in burgundy velvet. The case has wear on the corners,they have been touched up. There are random marks on the case. One of the tiletrays has old repairs with tape. Brown leather handle. Brass tone hardware withsome pitting. Overall the case is in good condition.Measurement:approximately 19-1/2 inches long.

. 154Catalin tiles by Coronet. These tiles are solid Catalin; they are heavier thanyour average Catalin tile from other manufactures.The tiles are overallin nice condition. There are some random marks on some of the tiles, there area few tiles with slight color variation, a few tiles with tiny flea bites. Paintis in nice condition on most of the tiles.The tiles have light wear fromnormal play. Eight closely matching tiles have been added and are stickered asjoker tiles with CHarli’s “Vase” stickers. The set has two blank tiles, theyhave a few marks on them from old stickers. In the photos of the complete tileset, the tiles have been turned over in place. It was not manufactured utilizingmodern technology with precision controls and exact results. Pieces and partswere in many cases made by hand, up to 90 years ago. There may be somevariation in color and/or size as well as manufacturing artifacts or remnantssuch as surface cracking, scratches or flea bites in the Catalin, Bakelite,resin, Celluloid, Lucite, or other plastics as the material cooled. Chips andflea bites may be a result of materials used as fillers in the plastics or howthe set was played with or stored. There may also be variation in the paintcolors from suit to suit if the set tiles were painted at different times usingdifferent batches of paint.Some tiles are made from more than one type of materials. Some of the pieces ofa tile may shrink differently than others and over time the tile components mayseparate. Game tiles may also separate during normal play. If the piecesseparate, a simple tacky, water clean-up, crafter\'s glue will work nicely toreattach the pieces. On rare occasion, pieces may separate during shipping. Ifthe set arrives with separated tiles they can be easily repaired as outlinedabove. Please get in touch with me and I will work with you to resolve thesituation to your 100% satisfaction. Separated tiles are not in and ofthemselves reason to return a set as the repair is both simple and quick.The wood, bone and bamboo pieces may not all match perfectly in size, as mostwere carved, crafted and assembled by hand. This also includes the woodenstorage boxes. In an effort to get the product to market quickly, many of thevintage wooden boxes were made with green wood. As the wood dried, it may havesplit, shrunk or cracked in places. This is what makes the sets vintage andunique and brings the wonderful character and charm that makes mahjong sets sovery popular. Vintage sets are unique in that they bear the maker\'s personaltouch.Vintage metal will show its age and character. The money holders, case locksand other metal components may have an uneven patina, spots of oxidation ornormal use wear associated with age. Additionally, if dissimilar metals were usedto make the parts, there will be areas of galvanic corrosion where the twometal types are joined.If you are expecting that all of the pieces match in size and color exactlythen you probably do not want a vintage set.
