This listing is for a vintage 7-1/4" long x 5" wide pottery wall pocket, marked on back of tail with red circle mark Made In Czecho-Slovakia. Also marked on back of body with incised 6088A.Bird resembles a Toucan or Pelican. It is luster light green, white, and orange, with red accent lines on beak and around black eye.

There are some flaws in the paint, some surface flaws including raised areas and indented areas glazed over at the factory. Most notable paint flaws are on the beak and head. Most notable surface flaws are an indented area on the back top pocket edge, and a small raised area on the tail -- this also has a paint flaw. There are some uneven areas on the flower, including one on bottom which may be a chip.

There is a 'c' shaped tight hairline crack on the front of the bird (see second photo).. This wall pocket was used at one time, and a bit of residue remains inside. There is some age discoloration on the unglazed back edges. Overall in good, used condition, clean and smoke-odor free.

Despite the flaws, this vintage wall pocket still displays and functions well.
