I am pleased to offer this beautiful pair of sterling silver vermeil (gold wash) and blue and black enamel flower earrings by David-Andersen, Norway. The enamel is exceptionally pretty, nicely blue with a black enamel center. The earrings close with well working clip backs. Very, very nice!The David-Andersen company was founded in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway by David Andersen in 1876. Andersen, working as a gold and silversmith, expanded his workshop in 1892 and after he passed in 1901, the reins of the firm were taken over by his son. During the 1950s, Willy Winnaess was an important designer for this firm. David-Andersen jewelry is highly sought after and collected world wide and is still run as a family business.
