Description This is a vintage empty tin of No. 6 100-count blasting caps from the E. I. Du Pont De Nemours & Company of Wilmington, Delaware. Established in 1802, this company, founded as a gunpowder mill, manufactured these caps primarily for the mining industry. In very good to near excellent \'as found\' condition, it does show some very minor wear, primarily to the edges, but, has no dents or heavy scratches and is clean inside. All of the graphics are sharp and very legible. The tin measures 2 1/2\" x 2 1/8\" x 1 1/2\" with a weight of one ounce.
