This is for the Western Electric rotary dial 500 style telephone as shown - Made in USA. This has a standard household plug that is hardwired - see photos.

PLEASE READ ALL for full understanding of the condition. SPECS:
Basic Date: Feb 1963 (dated inside) bottom is dated 1970 likely from a repair - the phone company owned and fixed these phones for years and most have varying dates on the pieces.
Shell material: Outer shell is original hard plastic. Very good condition with minor scratches and nicks from age (some on the front edge) see photos - overall great condition - repolished
Receiver: The receiver is Western Electric G3 hard plastic - good condition showing some usage marks and scratches on the edges. Cord is medium coil size (hardwired), stretches and works as it should.
Dial and Ring: Finger dial is plastic, turns and works as it should. Typical usage marks and chips. Ring is nice and loud.
Feet and Bottom: Original plastic feet - these plastic feet reacted with the bottom metal causing rust - it has been sanded and sealed to prevent further corrosion. Bottom is good. Condition: Good clean, re-polished condition. All wires checked and in working order. Great condition for 54 years. We do NOT super buff these phones to like new condition as they were meant to be everyday appliances - so most DO show some age wear with some scuffs and scratches on original parts. We clean the insides and out and test and or fix all parts. These phones were very well made.Please judge the condition by the photos. These phones are heavy to ship - so check the shipping and email prior to offerding with any questions (if you are on the West coast - Fedex is likely cheaper to ship).
