Jeannette Glass Company has become one of the most sought after carnival and depression glass companies. The artistry is stunning. Their state of the art techniques were unique to the time. This \"Tree Bark\" covered candy dish is no different. This piece can fit into any decor. It can be displayed, used for casual or special occasion celebrations or can simply become a part of your decor itself. No matter how you choose to use it, you will have a beautiful piece of history to call your own. The \"Tree Bark\" pattern was introduced to the world in 1927. The discontinued date, for this pattern, is unknown. The last known ads for this pattern were published in 1929.There are no cracks, chips or repairs to this piece. There are a couple of spots that the processing of the iridescence that spotted incorrectly (see last two photos). This is a manufacturing flaw and does not denigrate the value of this piece in any way. There is minimal surface scratching - something one would expect to see more of in a piece that is this age. The deep iridescent marigold and the glimmer of every color in the rainbow, depending on your light source, makes this a treasure to have.
This candy jar stands 6 inches tall to the tip of the lid and has a bowl diameter of 3 1/2 inches.Please closely examine the photos, for the piece(s) you are interested in purchasing. However, we are shipping from a small rural town and therefore have very limited times that packages can be to the post office to ship out the same day (by 11:30 AM). If a package is taken to the post office after this time, it will not ship until the following business day. If you have made a purchase from us on a Friday (after 11:30 AM) - Sunday, it will not ship out until Monday, at the earliest, because of our local post office hours. This is why we have allowed ourselves the 2-day handling time.Multiple Listing PurchasesContact us if you are wanting to purchase multiple items from our store. We are willing to combine shipping costs on some items but not on all. This is because some pieces are very fragile and we do not want your purchase to arrive damaged.
