Gorgeous Art Nouveau style sterling silver aqua blue enamel brooch by famousMargotVan Voorhies.Marked on the back \"Margot de Taxco\" and \"Eagle 16\".It was made in 1960s-70s.Made of sterling silver 925 with aqua blue enamel.Made in Art Nouveau style and reminds an ocean wave by shape and aqua blue color.It is \"Book piece\" design and shown in the Penny C. Morrill \"MargotVan Voorhies: The Art of Mexican Enameled Jewelry\" and\"OnlineEncyclopediaof Silver Marks, Hallmarks and Makers\' Marks\".It is 2¾” long and 1⅝\" wide.It weighs 23.83 grams.Good condition, no scratches on the silver, no signs of repair. The aqua blue enamel has a few light brown spots. Also enamel has some lines that are more visible under close observation. These lines are internal and couldn\'t be feltwhen are touched.
