DESCRIPTION
Condition: vintage, pre-owned, very good ; new Sterling silver chain.
Quantity: 1
Color: silver, forest green.
Weight: 7.0 grams
Dimensions: 3/4\" long x 3/4\" wide x 3/8\" deep., 5x5mm onyx cabochon.
Material: .925 Sterling Silver, natural spinach Jade 5x5mm.
Hallmark: very worn - Mexico, silver, 925 (chain)
Interesting Bits: Striking, vintage-antique, Mexico artisan handmade .925 Sterling silver rounded fluted (corrugated) triangle little pendent hangs from a new 19\" fine Sterling snake chain. A natural circular forest green spinach Jade jadeite cabochon is bezel set in the center of pendent formed in repossè technique which creates the silver\'s hills and valleys. Repossè is done by carefully pounding the malleable metal from the reverse until the desired perfect shape is created. Very difficult to create beautiful rounded forms which are in this piece indicating an expert silversmith created this pendent. Beautifully designed and expertly executed. Probably made mid century or earlier. This necklace/pendent looks great on. A little treasure and collectible.
