Here\'s a wonderful vintage Burke tulip table and propeller chairs set. Wow!
The 4 chairsswivel 360 degrees and are fiberglass shell style with arm rests.
This is a true vintage piece and does have some detractions. It\'s still solid and the table top and fiberglass are in very good shape. It does have paint loss, marks and scratches. In need of some TLC with new paint or it would look fantastic if you had it powder coated!
CHAIRS:Overall the fiberglass areas are in very good condition, no cracks or breaks. The fiberglass seats have some discolorations and paint loss in a few spots. The aluminum bases are coated with white paint which has chipped off and cracked in some areas on the feet. The seats and bases are still solid.Each chair measures approx. 28.5 inches tall , 17 inches in depth and 24.5 inches wide. The height of seat measured from the floor to the front without a cushion is about 13.5\". I do not have the cushions but they sell replacement cushions on in many different colors.One of the swivel chairs appears to have a one inch gap between the chair seat and base. It pushes down when you sit on it and the chair still swivels however it causes the seat to have a very slightwobblefrom time to time. I didn\'t consider it that big of a deal but wanted to note it.
TABLE: The base and table top is also still solid and in very good overall shape. The tabletop has no breaks or cracks. It does have some discoloration, scratches and marks on the table top. The base is solid but does has some chipped paint, marks and surface wear as seen. There is some light chipping of paint on the bottom of the table and chairs. Paint or powder coating would make it all go away nicely.Table is 42 inches in diameter and 25.5 inches tallThis set is slightly smaller in height than most vintage sets. Average dining table height for tulip sets is around 28\".
