This is a vintagemid-century modern art studio vase in an unusual blue flecked glaze. On the top around the opening is a light blue flecked ring. It is overall a deep, deep navy blue with lighter blue tiny flecks overall except the bottom area which is a deep, deep navy. It is perfect with no issues. It is 4.5 inches high and round in appearance and so it is 4 plus inches across as well. Perfect size for small flowers. it is aheavy little vase so shipping mustaccommodate the cost ofshipping to potential long distance.8
My mom owned an antique store in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the 1960s. So, this vase is from the 1950s. She collected and sold much pottery from Scandinavia as she was Swedish. This piece is a beauty. I have never seen any glaze like it.
