Up for offer is mini LANE CEDAR advertising store promochest box. This promo piece was distributed by the Lane Cedar Chests of AltaVista in Va., advertising for the Davie Furniture Co. This little trinket boxcould have been a salesman sampler as the label tag on the bottom may indicate.This little chest is 9 inches long by 4 ½ inches wide by 4 inches tall. It isin very good condition with a few very light scuffs on the top lid and the toppanel has a small split in it from the wood drying out. This can be restored.Also I have what looks like the correct key for this chest but there seems tobe a problem with the latch mechanism as it doesn’t lock. I mention and showeverything for accuracy. This nice little vintage store promo item stilldisplays well and would make an excellent addition to anyone’s mini Lane cedarpromo or trinket chest collection.
