Vintage NORITAKE Art Deco Lusterware CELERY RELISH DISH TRAY Parrot Bird, Hibiscus
This very pretty lusterware relish tray was manufactured by Noritake of Japan. I believe that the backstamp dates to the 1920\'s.The tray measures 12\" from handle to handle, and 5-3/8\" at the widest part in the center. It is 2\" high at the handles, and 1-1/2\" high in the center.The white porcelain has a peach luster band all around. There is a colorful parrot and blue hibiscus flowers with black leaves. The edges are rimmed with black.There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is minor wear to the black on the rim, light scratches to the luster glaze, and a small yellow spot on the white dish near the parrot\'s tail. These are all very minor issues mentioned for accuracy, and do not affect the display or use of the tray.Please see all photos and click on them to super size, as they are to be considered part of the description.
