Orrefors, since 1916 has produced outstandingly beautiful artistic glass! Fascinatingly complex visual treat--presented in a simply elegant design--is an example of the best of Swedish art glass. Hand blown, precision-faceted and highly-polished. Stopper/dauber is painstakingly ground to a perfect fit. Pontil/base is ground-flat, highly-polished, signed, Orrefors and coded, FA 1955. Research indicates this was made by Edvin Öhrström in the pre-World War II period. DIMENSIONS: 4½\" tall (11.4 cm) x 2½\" wide x 2\" deep WEIGHT: 1 Pound, 6 Ounces (620 g.) Orrefors, since 1916 has produced outstandingly beautifulartistic glass!Bound to become a treasured family heirloom,this fascinatingly complex visual treat--presented in a simplyelegant design with superb reflective qualities--is an example of thebest of Swedish art glass. Hand blown scent bottle isprecision-faceted and highly-polished throughout. Stopper/dauber ispainstakingly ground to a perfect fit. Pontil/base is ground-flat,also highly-polished, signed, Orrefors and coded, FA 1955. Researchindicates this was made by Edvin Öhrström in the pre-World War IIperiod (as revealed by Orrefors third coding system).Stands4½-inches tall and is substantially heavy for its size at nearly1½-pounds.An excellent addition to any Orrefors,artglass orperfume bottlecollection, or a thoughtful giftfor a special person--including yourself!

FULL CONDITION REPORT:We thoroughly inspected this piece and found that no cracks, chips, nicks, scuffs, flea bites, flakes, hairlines, deep scratches (located other than weight-bearing base), repairs, stains, residue, evidence of grinding or signs of restoration could be seen or felt. Any natural indentations, bubbles, tool marks, carbon/ash deposits, and/or any other natural textural features are all original and normal for hand blown glass. Wear to base is normal and consistent with age. Please review all high resolution photos, at full size, in forming your own opinions.
