- A vintage crock / bean pot, glazed in brown and cream, with a single handle, and no lid.
- Marked \"2 QT\" inside the blue crown insignia.
- The crock has no maker\'s mark other than the blue crown... but this item is identical to several others listed on as made by Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co., which operated in Ohio from 1920-2005.
- The heavy weight of the crock makes it useful for storing kitchen tools and utensils - without tipping over!
- Good vintage condition.
- Lid missing.
- On the flange designed to support the lid, there are anumber of small nicks, and twobroad, flat chips: one on the top, second on the bottom of flange (see photos 4-6)
- (The rest of the crock is free of nicks and chips)
- Wear and scuff marks on the unglazed base (see photo 9)
- Crazing of the glaze (see closeup photo 8)
