This listing is for a vintage Royal Custom III Precision portable typewriter in locking black hard metal frame case with key. The typewriter is a dark blue, almost teal, with a cream key face, made in Portugal. Included are the manual and Royal Speed Typing Chart. The manual shows light wear throughout, nothing serious, and the chart has heavy wear, taped in areas. Manual was printed in the US, last revised 3/69. Ribbon is included and was used in testing, everything works great. I am unsure how much life is left in the ribbon, it is possible it may need replaced soon. The typewriter shows light cosmetic wear throughout, all minor. The decorative adhesive \"Royal\" branding on the front type face is slightly warped (easy fix if desired). The black sturdy plastic and metal framed locking case comes with the original key and has three interior locks to hold the typewriter in place for transport. The exterior shows light cosmetic wear, nothing serious, minor scuffs and scratches. Case measures approx. 16 1/4\" x 15\" x 6 1/4\".
