VTG SAINTE CROIXITALY SWISS MOVEMENT REUGE BEETHOVEN FÜR ELISE CREAMWOOD INLAY MUSIC BOX

Offered here is a vintage music playing jewelery box, made in Italy by Sainte CroixReuge with \"Swiss Musical Movement\". When opened the box plays the popular refrain of \"Fur Elise\" by Beethoven. The box has a stone-like appearance, though I believe it is made of wood with a cream/off-white lacquer decorated with black scribble. The top of the box has inlaid wood with a diamond shape in its center. Inside, it has two levels, a removable top shelf and a deep lower area. It stands on eight brass feet. Beneath its base, it has its original tags with the brand name and the song title and reads \"No. 3756\"; it also has a winding knob embossed \"Reuge\". A beautiful & unique vintage piece, excellently crafted!

Measures 15\" long x 8 1/2\" wide x 3 3/4\" tall.

In good vintage condition. Structurally solid. Brass feet have some natural wear from aging.
