In excellent condition. Everything works as it should. There is only some discoloration and slight corrosion on the blades. Pencil is loaded with lead and is perfect. There are dings, scratches and scuffs over-all due to use and age.
This is an extremely rare ornate piece. It is marked 14ct gold with a \"w\" inside of a crown logo and it tested as 14k gold with the acid test. There are 3 blue stones that I believe are Sapphires. However, I am not a gemologist, so I could be wrong. One stone (the larger) is on the top of the pencil. The other two (which are tiny) are on either side of the handles with a bail. It is monogramed with the initials J I R. Measures approximately 2 15/16\" closed.
