Vintage AE TAUTOMATIC ELECTRIC WALL MOUNT TELEPHONE. I beleive the black plastic to be bakelite. No breaks or cracks/chips anywhere. There isa little rough scuff on the black front casing immediately below the rotary dial. Not very noticeable. I took the one screw out of the black casing to expose the internal working portion which appears to be excellent. The heavy duty old cord and hand held speaking/listending piece isexcellent.I beleive this phone to be from the 1940-50\'s era. This is an original, not a reproduction. 10\" high x 81-1/4\" wide to the chrome disconnect x 4-1/4\" high.
