This is what I\'ve always referred to as an aftermarket WWII era m422a goatskin leather flight jacket. This is a real WWII era piece, manufactured for the US Government that wasn\'t issued. There\'s no label, but the waistband is single-ply wool. Overall, this jacket is in good condition. The leather is soft and very wearable. However, there are some condition issues that need to be mentioned. The biggest issue is the mouton is showing signs or damage(see pics). There\'s a bald spot on the backside and a couple of small clumps of the fur are loose. I think 85% of it is solid, but it isn\'t perfect and probably should be repaired. Also, there\'s more than a few small moth holes along the waist band as well as the original wool cuffs. None are realy big and it might be better just to mend them rather than replace. Finally, the liner is showing a worn through spot where the label should be(see pic). Like i say, overall the jacket is perfectly wearable and the leather is nice, but this jacket does have some issues. I know these issues can be repaired, but it will cost a bit. With repairs, this would be a very nice jacket. This jacket fits me like a 42. Be sure to check the measurements for this jacket below.
