I believe thisscrewdriver was standard issue for the WWII Military Jeeps and also otherMilitary vehicle tool kits, as the WC, CCKW, and DUKW vehicles during the era.

The screwdriver is stamped on the middleof the shank shaft IRWIN USA. I believe theFederal Government stock number was #41-S-1076, andwas the same number as #A-375 for the MB Willys, and GPW-17020 for the FordGPW.

The handle is a two part wood handlethat is riveted on both sides. The metal shank is a natural metal finish andruns all the way through the handle.

The screwdriver is approx. 11 1/4\"long, with a 3/8\" wide tip.

The screwdriver is in good condition, …..As with the vintage of thescrewdriver, there is some normal use wear, a few rubs, dings, some scratches,and discoloration, as noted from the photos.

The screwdriverwould enhance any collection.
