A VERY RARE pair of Conrad Johnson speakers. These are super rare and nearly impossible to find. Conrad Johnson is a manufacturer of high end audio equipment. Everything they make is for the discriminating listener!These Sonographe SL-21 speakers are small but offer big sound for their size. 14 3/4 tall x 10 1/2 wide x 14 1/4\" at the base. The rubber feet are intact. The id badges are intact and these are consecutively numbered speakers. This pair is cosmetically in great shape featuring a light oak solid wooden case and unique case shape to push the sound towards the listeners ear. Cases are in amazing shape with no defects. Foam grille covers are intact, and while not perfect are in excellent shape.I plugged these in and one plays perfectly, amazing deep bass and crisp highs - you understand what good speakers sound like listening to this! The other I believe has a bad crossover? The woofer is fine, the tweeter offers no sound. Some online research tells me the tweeter is not blown or else you would get some sound from it. No sound indicates a connection issue from the crossover to the speaker, or bad crossover components. Stereo aficionados fix these all the time, so this is not a show stopper for sure!
