Isn\'t this an absolutely gorgeous vintage swag? I think this was probably used to drape over a curtain rod and fall softly to the floor in asymmetric glory.
This vintage textile is 164 inches long and 63 inches wide at one end and 54 inches wide at the other. The widest part has the largest piece of lace.
I would say it is in good, usable condition but there are several poorly done mends in the netting (IMHO) and several breaks in the lace pattern that could be repaired.
Although this would be a fabulous window treatment, it also offers lots of vintage lace to repurpose into a wedding gown. Truthfully, this was my intent when I purchased it and I\'m a bit sad to let it go, but my list of projects is mounting at an alarming rate.
Since I know I\'ll never accomplish half of them, I thought a special piece like this needed to find a new home where it wouldn\'t languish in solitary confinement in a closet.
