W. C. OVERHOLSTER BOOT/BELT KNIFE ~ NEWPORT, ORE. ~ CUSTOM MADE ~ Superb Vintage 1970\'s Era Custom Made Double Edge Boot / Belt Knife was created by Bladesmith W. C. Overholster, of Newport, Ore.. The Design, Balance and Workmanship on this knife are Fabulous. The double edge hollow ground blade appears to be maker sharpened only & is sharp as a razor on both edges, the tang is stamped with the \"W. C. OVERHOLSTER NEWPORT, ORE.\" Logo, the reverse tang is stamped with an “X over a 9 1978 # 6”, it has a full tang construction and Yellow Linen Micarta handles secured by six nickel silver pins, no chips or cracks, it has a full nickel silver guard & nickel silver butt end. Overall length of the knife is 9” with a blade length that is 4-7/8” long”. Comes with a High Quality tight stitched & riveted Boot / Belt Sheath with a clip on the back. This is a Great example of a W. C. Overholster Double Edge Boot / Belt Knife in Wonderful Overall Condition.
