Description Here we have a wonderful vintage cast iron Drip Drop Baster \"ROUND ROASTER\" DUTCH OVEN POT (size #7 A) with a LID and inner cast iron TRIVET along with a thick wire bail handle by WAGNER WARE of Sidney, Ohio (merged with GRISWOLD in 1957.) It measures approx. 9 1/4\" in top diameter (add 5/8\" for the assist grip) x 4\" side high (deep) x 6 3/4\" in total height with the domed lid, can hold up to 4 quarts. It is in good to very good maintained (used) condition with no chips or cracks but does have a sllight bottom wobble (see NOTE.) It has not been cleaned or seasoned since acquired and is being offered in \"as found\" condition (a clean and re-seasoning then good to go.) [NOTE: Even though there is a slight bottom wobble, I am still hesitant to recommend this pot (or any other vintage cast iron pot/pan) for use on a flat glass stove top or induction stove top surface because these users are very particular about the absolute \"flatness\" of their skillets and I just want to avoid any kind of disappointment...works just fine on a gas/electric stove top burner.] This cast iron round baster/roaster (Dutch Oven) heats evenly, retains the heat, and with consistent care it will last a lifetime. The bottom pot is marked, \"WAGNER WARE ~ SIDNEY -O- ~ ROUND ROASTER ~ 7 A.\" The lid\'s top is marked, \"WAGNER ~ DRIP DROP BASTER\" and the underside with two concentric raised zig-zag basting/drip rings is marked, \"7 A\" along with various patented numbers, \"PATENTED DEC., 4-17 MCH., 8-21 MCH., 14-22 FEB., 10-20.\" Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1924. This item weighs approx. 8 1/2 lbs., add 3 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
