Great little terrier designed by renowned Art Deco artist Walter Bosse and manufactured by Metzler & Ortloff in Germany. This figurine captures a dog with attitude! He reminds me of \"Asta\" in the Thin Man movies. Wonderfully painted right down to the paw nails, this piece is in almost perfect condition. There is a slight rough spot on the edge of one ear that I think has been there since manufacture (see last pic.). Green MO and crown in circle mark on the underside and Germany on underside of R front paw. When you shake this figurine there is a little tinkling sound - I think the little airhole dot of porcelain is inside. It measures about 3.5\"L x 2.5\"H. Thanks for looking.
