Up for offer is a colorful vintage patriotic postcard. Entitled, "Washington -- His Industry," this card features a lithographic illustration of our nation\'s first president posing next to a surveyor\'s transit level. When you supersize the image you will see the great details on this card. Notice the cherries for which Washington became famous. There are plenty of stars & stripes banners and silver stars decorating the card. The colors are very vivid and the artistry is just great!
This beautifully embossed card was published by E. Nash in 1909 (their logo is on the front at the lower-right corner). It was part of their "Washington Birthday Series No. 2." The card has not been postally used and has penciled handwriting on its divided "Winsch back."
Here is a wonderful vintage card that is ready for framing, or to add to your Patriotic or Washington\'s Birthday postcard collection. Better offer now, before another collector takes it away forever.

CONDITION: Expected light soiling and corner blunting. A small bit of surface and edge wear. No creases, stains or rips. Clear image with vivid colors. Very nice condition for this 100-year old antique!

CAREFUL Packaging:Card is carefully placed in a protective, acid-free poly sleeve, wrapped in the invoice, and then shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailer for maximum protection. Tape will never be placed directly on sleeves.
FAST Shipping: Items are shipped the next business day after payment clears. Cards are sent 1st class USPS mail which is usually very reliable. Tracking will be added to domestic shipments.
