This is for a fabulous lookingold silvernotary\'s wax seal hammer from the late 1800s. It has a nicely turnedantique handle with a silver endwith blank matrix. It has apick end which would have been used to break seals off letters and documents. This one is rare as it has a registration lozenge dating it to 25th November 1870 along with the makers initials WH for William M. Hayes. It is in A1 excellent condition with no cracks in the handle and it measures 170mm (6.75\") long by 50mm (2\") across.
