WELL LOVED PASTEL WHIG ROSE APPLIQUE QUILT c 1930s:

This 1930\'s Whig Rose quilt is hand appliqued using all cotton fabrics. There are 2 shades of pink (light & mauve) for the flowers, Nile green for the leaves, and bright white for the background, with a mauve sawtooth frame. The very light pink wornbinding is hand applied, and the backing is bright white. Hand quilted with outline quilting around each applique, feather wreaths with diamond centers on the background, and double outline quilting on the frame and borders @ 8 stitches per inch. This quilt is freshly laundered and has been lovingly used over the years, causing splits on the applique pieces, some missing sawtooth pieces, anda black stain as shown in the photos.
